all amps are 220-240V local voltage. I don't believe in using amps with the wrong operating voltage from the local power supply. There really is no good reason for doing so except to save money by buying it cheaper somewhere else, and for high-powered electrical equipment that is not a good idea to me.
Laney Tony Iommi TI 100 limited signed + TI-15 combo
I had often wondered before, unless you're in a Black sabbath tribute band or a real Tony Iommi nut, does one really need a Tony Iommi signature amp, which is a single channel tube amp, and which ostensibly offers just one sound. So i got the Laney TI 15w backstage amp to find out, and the answer is :yes. It turned out to be much more than the signature sound of its namesake. So good in fact, that I also ended up ponying up for the TI100 limited edition amp head as well. The fact that the amp head glows red like the fires of hell certainly helped the decision. Here is one of the 24 amp heads personally tested and autographed by Tony himself in commemoration of 'The End' tour, and Black Sabbath's retirement. There are only 24 for the entire world and not to be reproduced.
Marshall YJM100 Yngwie Malmsteen
Yngwie is known as much for his Wall of Marshalls as he is for his kick-ass(literally) stagecraft and blistering fretwork. I don't know about you but I listen to rock because I want my heroes to be larger than life. I don't want to see some nerd in a turtleneck tapping away on 8 strings for half an hour creating 'soundscapes'. Fans want songs they can sing along and pump their fists to. We want to see a wall of Marshalls, then there's no mistaking where you are. Yngwie understands this. "More is more". Despite his unfashionable status, this proved to be a successful amp, proving that many people indeed secretly still want to be him. Or at least some of them do, because this really is the only Marshall Plexi-style amp with power attenuation, which is an extremely useful feature to have on a Plexi. Limited to 1600 pcs.
Marshall AFD100 Slash
Not the first Marshall Slash signature amp, but certainly the most useful in small spaces, with the Electronic Power Attenuation feature. Though not particularly limited at 2300 pcs, this amp sold out as expected. There are not many more bankable personalities in rock than Slash. Why do you think he keeps that dreaded hat on. At his age. He and the corporates need you to think that it's still 1988. It has been proven time & again. Slash sells!
Marshall JCM Slash 2555SL
Limited to 3000 pieces. The Marshall Silver Jubilee amp was and still is one of Marshall's most highly-regarded amplifiers, and was the basis for Slash's first signature amp, made in 1996-97. It was in fact the very first Marshall amp to have an artist name on it. I had this custom re-tolexed in faux snakeskin, in keeping with the 'Snakepit' theme. It turned out better than expected.
Bogner Ecstasy 101B
The mother of all boutique amps, this is the coveted Bogner Ecstasy. If it's good enough for Steve Lukather, you can be sure it will be good enough for you.
