ESP Kiko Loureiro Fire-K
Though now an official member of Megadeth, where his world-class playing has finally gained widespread attention, it would be unfair to disregard the band where Kiko really made his name, that is in Brazilian power metal giants Angra. It is quite a revelation to listen to their demos and debut album which were so advanced for a band considering the time and place. As is often the case they were 'big in Japan' and they had quite a big following as well in Europe and S.America before the rest of the world caught on. Andre Matos was a visionary, so when he left the music changed but was still good going into the Edu Falaschi era and Kiko's playing was always a highlight. This classy ESP signature guitar was produced for only a couple of years in the late 2000s, and features extensive pearloid binding, Seymour Duncans with coil tap, 27 frets scalloped on 12-27, and was personally signed by Kiko.
