Valley Arts Steve Lukather Robot
Yes this really exists and is not an aftermarket paintjob. This is an actual Lukather model that was released by Valley Arts Japan division, a copy of his custom "Robot" graphics Valley Arts Strat. It apparently angered Luke and they were forced to stopped making it; a trend that repeats itself with many Japanese guitarmakers of the time who were making painstaking replicas of rock stars' customised guitars. If you were aware of Toto or Steve Lukather at all in the early 90s you would recognise this as he played it virtually everywhere before his transition to Ernie Ball/Music Man.
ESP Craft House Strat
Perhaps only slightly more synonymous with Luke would be the Valley Arts Strat that he used throughout the 80s. As the LA session ace, Luke was always at the cutting edge of guitar gear that have since become household names. He was an early champion of Floyd Rose bridges, EMG pickups, Bradshaw systems, Boogie & Bogner amps, and with his Valley Arts Strat virtually launched a CRAZE of the following style of guitar. This is a 90s ESP Craft House Strat in that unmistakable Luke style.
