EZGUITARS is a private guitar collection located in Singapore. This website is a relaunch in 2018 of the original ezguitars content that I had been posting sporadically since the late 2000s. All gear is stored in climate-controlled environments, with consistent maintenance applied. Periodically some items will become available for sale, and these will be posted in the SHOP section of the site.
The guitars you will see on these pages are all genuine; hunted down online or obtained in used gear stores, estate sales, dimly-lit carpark deals, in all conceivable ways from all corners of the world. They are all rare to varying degrees- at a minimum, not easily store-bought on any given day. At a maximum, so rare that you didn't even know it existed. But absolutely no China fakes. When I first started collecting guitars along this theme, it would have been considered very much a fringe activity even amongst collectors' circles, that noone was paying much attention to and so there wasn't much competition. Today, much like Banksy art or the wine market before that, or to cite the most obvious example ~the vintage Gibson 'Burst market; the increase in awareness and desirability have caused prices to climb astronomically, effectively crowding out all but the wealthiest collectors.
Sadly I wouldn't count it as foresight otherwise I would have bought and held on to ALL that I had wished for in the past. The number of deals that I missed or had to pass over is a whole other story. The truth is that I painstakingly amassed this collection over 15 years for no purpose other than to please myself by acquiring some of my 'dream guitars'. I've already far exceeded what I had thought possible for a regular working stiff with limited resources and that's good enough. I don't seek attention or fame or to profit from it. This is a simple fan site, and not-for-profit. Perhaps seeing some of these entries may inspire you to revisit some fond rock memories yourself. Here the legends of Rock live on. Enjoy!
