1978 Greco EX800 (Hamer Standard)
Not only the guitarist of a kickass classic rock band, but a legendary guitar collector as well. As an early adopter of Hamer guitars, (pretty much from day one of Hamer, way before his idiosyncratic chequered Explorer) who championed the development of the Hamer Standard, a groundbreaking instrument that took off with many notable users in rock including Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden, Pete Willis of Def Leppard, Andy Summers, etc. etc.
No I don't have one, but I do have a poor man's Hamer Standard, a 1978 Greco EX copy. The trademark 3-inline knobs appear to have been replaced, but overall good as these are very hard to find in a good condition and with a nice flame/burst colour.
