ESP Random Star white & red
Akira Takasaki was responsible for selling a million of these Random Stars in various styles in Japan over 30+ years. OK slight exaggeration but there is certainly no shortage of this wacky shape in any guitar store in Japan, where Loudness and guitarist Akira are revered as rock royalty. The white + red mirror RS was used in the mid-80s tours, and appears on the back cover of the awesome 'Thunder In the East' album. ESP made far less of the white ones than the perennially-popular red variations. This appears to be an early model, though I cannot tell from the serial number (poor record-keeping system in ESP's early days) but I would suspect late 80s- early 90s. Has a flush-mount original Floyd Rose. The ESP logo may appear unusual but is in fact the correct style logo as per the white RS he was actually using in the mid-80s.
